The Great Minnesota Get Together

Just another year of glutton, people watching, weight gain, and draining the checking account. Year in and year out, most everything stays the same except for some fancy new and bizarre food on a stick that will either take off like a space shuttle or fizzle into the fairground porta-potties.

What's more to love than a pile 'o pigglets? Maybe puppies, just maybe.

Sunnies in a boat. So delish that I was inspired to have a neighborhood fish fry at my house the next night! It was a weekend full of deep fried fish love.


A very upset goat with the deepest, manliest baaaah I have ever heard in my life. And some pretty big manparts, to boot!


The people are always entertaining. You just never know what thoughts are going through their heads.


A booth chock full of hot sauce. It was spicy, mouth watering adventure.


Some crazy, awesome seed art in the Horticulture Building. Ivy's got this one right!


Baby got back! Yummy, yummy, heavenly ham.


And one last palate cleanser -- a rainbow next to our house. It never rained a drop, just appeared out of nowhere. Just another blessing on a blessed weekend.


All in all a 100% entertaining and enjoyable weekend!
