Manhole Covers

Manhole covers in St. Paul

I saw the manhole above and one other one like it on the streets around the MN Capitol. I spotted one in the intersection of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. and Cedar St. and the other one down by the Peace Officers Memorial (pictured above). I am not sure if the placement is intentional or random. Seems pretty random to me.

Keep your eye out and see if you can spot any more manholes like this around the city! If you have a love for St. Paul like I do, check out the Hand in History website and read the historical stories and fun facts.

Wow, I never noticed them. My B/F's brother works for the City of St. Paul. I'll have to ask him!

Have a safe Holiday!
